This has already been running for most of the week, but todays question is particularly relevant to this forum..

I really like some of the ideas that people have put forward -specifically those who have a group dedicated to asking this very question and coming up with innovative ways to address the issue. I know from my studies that getting people to participate in any group environment is always a challenge. Parents club and council meetings are so busy just dealing with business at hand such as fundraising and looking after the buildings and grounds that they do not have time to discuss the finer points of how their own practices may influence other parents to participate (or not!). I wish we had such a group running at our school!
